Your thoughts, questions and feedback

Here's an offer, if you want to contact me about the Code or related issues - you now can..

Through the development and implementation of this Code it is clear to me that we need to interact and have an offer open at any time - drop me a line. Either by commenting directly below each post or on my direct email cmason@motorcodes.co.uk

I can't promise that I'll answer everything, but where I can I'll respond, and I will always take views on board, and listen to what's going on as it's important for us to work together on this.

The Code will evolve and it's important that it does so with the sector and the people that work within it and subscribe to the Code.

So if you have anything to say, here's your chance. What do you think of the Code, how are you finding accommodating it within your business, what do your customers say about it, how is it affecting your business - anything you want to tell me really, just make it interesting!

Also, send some pictures of the Code in operation, relevant to the subject please... or adverts where you've used the Code, and we'll post them up on the Blog as we go.

Your chance to show off and our chance to see how everyone else is making the most of their subscription as a marketing tool.

Keep me posted and I'll do the same.

All the best
Chris

Garage Finder

Have a look at the screen shot, and click on the link to the website below - have a search. This is the garage finder on our website, motorists are using it to find garages in their area that subscribe to the Code now.

So if you're a Code subscriber, your details are there and you can adapt and add to them to make them more appealing. Have a look in the subscriber area of the website and get this free online advert up to speed, make it and the Code work in promoting your business to the potential customers who are using it.

One other point for garage owners who may be reading this who aren't yet subscribed to the Code, you aren't on the garage finder so those potential customers won't be able to see you.

Sorry about that, but you can be on it - have a look at the link below and if you are a responsible business operator and want to actively demonstrate it, get signed up!

See what they say

To enable us to spread the word more effectively, we thought it might be a good idea to make a short promotional film to explain how the new Code works and get the people involved in the process to say what they think.

Saves us saying it over and over and boring everyone too much..

The film is now really helping raise awareness and demonstrates that the Code is supported by the right people to make a difference to both business and consumer perception of garages.

Have a look and see for yourself

Keeping in touch

Now we have the new industry service and repair code up and running I'd like to use a more informal method of keeping in touch with our subscribers and others who have an interest in the development of this very important Code but also of Motor Codes Limted and other areas of work as we progress towards our objectives.

My aim is to use the opinions and views of subscribers in the operation and development of our Codes and to interact with the industry and ensure we build a community and achieve the goals required as a collective industry, not easy but where there's a will...

Already we are making impressive progress with over 4,000 garages subscribed to the service and repair code, but we do need more. If you are not yet a subscriber and are interested or would like to find out more, have a look on the website
