The Department for Business Innovation and Skills has issued a press release in conjunction with the main automotive trade associations announcing their mutual support for the Motor Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair.
Now we have this clear commitment and support from SMMT, RMIF, SMTA and NTDA we need them to demonstrate it through full sign up from all their members.
Kevin Brennan MP is again clear in his message 'if the Code fails to achieve adequate numbers from the independent sector the Government will need to revisit the case for tighter regulation of garages'.
